Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school-based opportunity is available for a bilingual (Spanish) Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide onsite evaluations and services for school-aged children (Kindergarten through 5th grade). This position offers the flexibility of part-time hours, ranging from 20 to 30 hours per week, with itinerant work across multiple school locations. The role includes a combination of onsite student interaction and the opportunity to complete report writing remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for children in grades K-5.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records and complete detailed evaluation reports, with option for remote report writing.
- Provide services in both English and Spanish, ensuring effective communication with bilingual students.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist license and certification.
- Experience working with pediatric populations in educational settings.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English, both spoken and written.
- Ability to work independently and manage itinerant schedules efficiently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and staff.
